Below you will find EdgeOut’s Terms and Conditions. Cookie and Privacy Policies are explained separately. We understand this may seem extensive, but we believe in full transparency. Our goal is to ensure you have a clear understanding of how EdgeOut operates and how your interactions with our platform are managed.

We encourage you to review these terms and any sections relevant to your interests. By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and agree to proceed under these terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you should not proceed with registration or use of our services. These Terms take effect from the date they are published on Our website and app.

1. Our website & app are made available to you subject to these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and EdgeOut (ABN:  69 610 946 631). By accessing or using Our website & app, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. We may update these Terms periodically. The most current version will be accessible through our website & app and will apply to your continued use of our services.
3. If we reasonably believe that any changes to these Terms may have a materially adverse impact on users, we will provide notice on our website and/or app at least 30 days prior to the changes taking effect.
4. if you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of our website & app. Continued use after the changes take effect will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms.
5. Your use of our services (including our website & app) may also be governed by separate agreements with EdgeOut (e.g., Advertising Terms of Use). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any such separate agreement, the terms of the separate agreement will prevail.

1. To register an account on our website & app, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the country in which you reside.
2. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration (and at any subsequent time) is accurate and complete.
3. You must promptly update your personal details to reflect any changes, so we can maintain effective communication with you.

1. When registering an account through our website & app, you will be prompted to create a password. If you are registering as a Candidate, you may alternatively sign in using your Google, Facebook, or Apple ID credentials (“Login Details”). To help prevent fraud and unauthorized access, you must keep your Login Details confidential and must not disclose or share them with anyone. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Login Details or any other relevant security breach.
2. If we have reason to believe that a security breach or misuse of our website & app may occur, we may require you to update your Login Details or suspend your account as a precaution.
3. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Login Details and for all activities conducted through your account. You may change your password at any time by following the instructions in the ‘Settings’ section. You may also remove any services linked to your account at your discretion.
4. If you fail to maintain the confidentiality of your Login Details, You will be responsible for any direct losses or damages incurred by you or us; and You agree to fully indemnify us for any direct loss or damage we suffer as a result of your Login Details being compromised, except where such loss or damage is attributable to our own actions.

1. EdgeOut owns all intellectual property rights associated with our website & app. Subject to the paragraph below, EdgeOut retains full ownership of all intellectual property in our website & app.
2. We do not claim ownership of any pre-existing intellectual property that belongs to you (for example, your company logo). However, you grant us a perpetual, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use such intellectual property in connection with the products and services we provide or make available to you. If you choose to withdraw this licence, certain products or services may no longer be available to you.
3. Unless expressly permitted by us, all materials and content on our website & app are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must retain all copyright and proprietary notices. You may not reproduce, modify, copy, distribute, or otherwise use any materials or content for non-personal or commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
4. We welcome your ideas and feedback regarding our website & app. By submitting any materials or suggestions, whether through public forums (e.g., bulletin boards, discussion groups) or directly to us (e.g., via email), you agree that we may reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, and publicly display such content. You acknowledge that you will not receive compensation for your submissions, even if we implement changes based on your feedback. Where required by law, you agree to formally assign any intellectual property or other rights in your submissions to us for nominal consideration.
5. Our website & app incorporate the use of open-source software.

1. While we strive to provide you with the highest quality service, we do not guarantee that our website & app will meet your specific requirements.
2. b. We cannot ensure that our website & app will operate without interruption, faults, or errors, nor can we guarantee that our platforms and servers are free from viruses or other harmful components. If you encounter any issues, please report them to us, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve them promptly.
3. Access to our website & app may occasionally be restricted to allow for maintenance, repairs, or the introduction of new features, content, or services. We will aim to restore access as quickly as reasonably possible.
4. You acknowledge that we cannot and do not guarantee that files available for download through our website & app, or those delivered via email, will be free from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code. You are responsible for implementing appropriate procedures and safeguards to meet your specific requirements for data accuracy and integrity, and for maintaining external backup systems to recover any lost data.

1. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access and use our website & app solely for your personal and/or employment-related purposes.
2. You must not use our website & app for any of the following activities:
   • Posting or distributing unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material, 
   • engaging in any activity that violates applicable laws;
   • Aggregating, copying, or duplicating any content or information from our website & app, including expired job listings;
   • Reproducing any content for general or public use;
   • Linking to any content or information on our website & app without our prior permission;
   • Transmitting material that promotes conduct constituting a criminal offence or otherwise breaches applicable laws, regulations, or codes of practice;
   • Interfering with another user’s access to or enjoyment of our website & app; or
   • Creating, transmitting, or storing electronic copies of copyrighted materials without the appropriate permissions.
3. You agree not to resell, assign, or otherwise transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. You also agree not to make any unauthorised commercial use of our website & app.
4. You must not use data mining, robots, screen scraping, or similar automated tools to extract, collect, or publish data from our website & app (including for the purpose of replicating or maintaining content on another website or publication) without our prior written consent.

All users agree not to:
1. Transmit, post, distribute, store, or destroy any material, including content, violation of applicable laws or regulations, including those governing the collection, processing, or transfer of personal information, or in breach of our Privacy Policy.
2. Violate or attempt to violate the security of any of our website & app. This includes, but is not limited to: accessing data not intended for you; logging into servers or accounts without authorisation; probing, scanning, or testing system or network vulnerabilities; breaching security or authentication measures; interfering with service to any user, host, or network; or sending unsolicited emails, including promotional or advertising content. Such violations may result in civil or criminal liability. We reserve the right to investigate and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users involved in such activities.
3. Reverse engineer or decompile any part of our website & app.
4. Aggregate, copy, or duplicate any content or information from our website & app, including expired job postings, except as permitted under these Terms or another agreement with us. 
5. Post any content that facilitates, promotes, or endorses scams, false or misleading information, illegal activities, or instructional content related to prohibited activities (e.g., creating viruses, violating privacy, pirating media). You must also not post content that promotes political views.
6. Post profiles, resumes, or apply for jobs on behalf of another individual or entity.
7. Share login credentials with any third party.
8. Access data or accounts that you are not authorised to access.
9. Submit inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, false, or outdated biographical information, or information that is not your own.
10. Post content containing restricted-access pages, password-only access pages, or hidden pages or images.
11. Solicit login credentials from other users.
12. Delete or alter material posted by another person or entity.
13. Harass, incite harassment, or advocate harassment of any individual, group, or organisation.
14. Send unsolicited communications (mail, email, phone calls, faxes) promoting or advertising products or services to users, or contact users who have requested not to be contacted.
15. Attempt to interfere with service to any user, host, or network, including by submitting viruses, overloading systems, “flooding,” “spamming,” “mailbombing,” or “crashing.”
16. Use our services for any unlawful or illegal purpose, or post content that is defamatory, offensive, vulgar, obscene, threatening, abusive, hateful, racist, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate. This includes links to pornographic, indecent, or sexually explicit material, as determined at our discretion.
17. Post any profile or resume that is not genuine and is intended to advertise or promote products or services.

1. This section applies specifically to users registering or using our website & app as Candidates.
2. EdgeOut grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access and use our website & app solely for the purpose of seeking employment opportunities for yourself. You are permitted to view and download a single copy of content or materials for personal, non-commercial use only.
3. When registering, you will be required to create an account and provide certain information, including a valid email address.
4. Any profile you submit must be accurate, complete, current, and not misleading. Required fields must be completed, and you must not impersonate any other individual, living or deceased.
5. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the form, content, and accuracy of any profile, resume, or related materials you submit via our website & app.
6. You are solely responsible for any consequences resulting from the creation and use of your account.
7. Based on your preferences provided during registration or thereafter, we may offer third-party products or services to you, where you have agreed to receive such offers.
8. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your personal information is collected, used, and protected. As outlined in the Privacy Policy, we may collect user data and contact users periodically in accordance with its terms. We also reserve the right to comply with legal obligations, law enforcement requests, or government inquiries, which may involve disclosure of user information. Additionally, third parties may retain cached copies of user data.
9. You understand and agree that the information you provide, including your profile, resume, and other account details, may be shared with prospective employers when you apply for a role. Your information may also be searchable by employers via our Talent Search feature. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on managing your visibility settings.
10. You acknowledge that you do not hold ownership rights in your account. If your account is cancelled or terminated, all associated information, including your profile, resumes, cover letters, and saved jobs, will be marked for deletion and may be removed from our databases and public areas of our website & app. Due to system propagation delays, some data may remain accessible for a limited time. Third parties may also retain saved copies, and employers may continue to access previously submitted applications.
11. We reserve the right to delete your account and associated information following a prolonged period of inactivity.
12. We do not guarantee the continued availability of any job listing on our website & app. We are not liable if a position is filled before the advertisement is removed. While we strive to ensure that job postings reflect genuine vacancies, we cannot guarantee that every listing represents an actual opportunity.

1. You acknowledge that all content submitted by users (“User Content”) is the sole responsibility of the individual from whom such content originated.
2. You understand and agree that all information you provide, including your profile, resume, and account details, will be stored in our databases.
3. You consent to the transfer of your information, including your profile, resume, and account details, to countries outside your location for the purposes of storage and/or processing. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
4. By submitting, posting, or displaying User Content on or through our website & app, you grant EdgeOut a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, adapt, distribute, and publish such content, subject to your privacy settings and applicable laws. This licence will expire within a commercially reasonable period after the content is removed from our platforms. We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or restrict any User Content at our sole discretion.
5. If you post User Content in any public area of our website & app, you also grant other users the right to access, view, store, and reproduce such content for personal use.
6. We may review and remove any User Content that, in our sole judgment, violates these Terms, applicable laws, or regulations; is abusive, offensive, disruptive, or illegal; or infringes on the rights or safety of other users. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently restrict access to our website & app for users who violate these Terms or applicable laws. We may take any action we deem necessary to protect our brand, reputation, or user base.
7. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or truthfulness of any User Content, derivative works based on User Content, or communications posted by users. Any reliance on such content is at your own risk.

1. We may suspend your Candidate account immediately at our reasonable discretion if we believe you are engaging in unlawful or inappropriate conduct while using our website & app. We may also cancel your Candidate account if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of receiving notice from us.
2. You may cancel your Candidate account at any time.
3. Suspension or cancellation of your Candidate account and your access to our website & app does not affect either party’s statutory rights or liabilities.
4. If you hold an employer account with us, the terms governing suspension or cancellation are outlined in our Advertising Terms of Use.

1. These Terms will remain in full force and effect for as long as you continue to use any of our website & app.
2. If you breach these Terms, EdgeOut reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue all available legal remedies. This may include, but is not limited to:
   • Removal of your User Content from our website & app;
   • Immediate termination of your Candidate account;
   • Restriction or removal of your access to our websites, apps, and/or services.
3. Certain provisions of these Terms that are intended to survive termination will remain in effect even after you cease to be a user of our website & app.

1. Our website & app (including our services) primarily serve as platforms for: Employers or their representatives to post job opportunities and search for suitable candidates; Candidates to create profiles, search for, evaluate, and apply for job opportunities; and Advertisers to publish advertisements.
2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeOut is not responsible for User Content, the quality, safety, or legality of job postings or resumes, the accuracy of listings, the ability of employers to offer roles, or the ability of candidates to fill them. We make no representations regarding any jobs, profiles, resumes, or User Content on our website & app.
3. We do not endorse or recommend any job, business, or self-employment opportunity advertised on our platforms. Before entering into any agreement with advertisers, you should seek independent legal, financial, accounting, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of all information, advice, services, or products accessed through our website & app or the internet generally.
4. We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to remove any User Content, including profiles or other materials, from our website & app at our discretion. Employer content may also be removed in accordance with our Advertising Terms of Use.
5. Our website & app may include content sourced from other internet sites or resources. While we aim to ensure this content is accurate and of high quality, we do not guarantee its reliability or correctness. If inaccuracies are reported, we will attempt to correct them as soon as reasonably possible.
6. You acknowledge that interacting with other users may involve risks, including but not limited to physical harm, dealing with underage individuals, or individuals misrepresenting themselves. You assume all risks associated with such interactions. Some user information may be offensive, harmful, inaccurate, or misleading. We encourage you to exercise caution and good judgment when using our platforms.
7. Our websites, apps, and content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content. Use of our platforms and content is at your own risk.
8. Nothing on our website & app should be interpreted as an endorsement, representation, or warranty regarding any user or third party, including their websites, products, services, hiring practices, or professional conduct.
9. While we take reasonable steps to protect the privacy and integrity of your information, there is a possibility that data may be unlawfully accessed during transmission or while stored. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any such occurrences.
10. If we breach these Terms or are otherwise legally liable to you (where such liability cannot be excluded by law), our responsibility will be limited to direct losses that are foreseeable at the time of your use of our website & app. We will not be liable for business-related losses such as lost data, profits, or interruptions.
11. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any non-excludable breach (including implied terms) is limited, at our discretion, to either re-supplying the relevant products or services, or paying the cost of having them re-supplied.
12. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of EdgeOut to you for all claims arising from your use of our websites, apps, and services is limited to AUD 50. This limitation may not apply in jurisdictions where such caps are not permitted.

We may provide links or references to external websites maintained by third parties from within our website & app. These linked sites are not under the control of EdgeOut, and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any linked site or any link contained within a linked site. These links are provided solely for your convenience, and their inclusion does not imply any endorsement or approval by us.

We are not responsible for the copyright compliance of any third-party site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeOut disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with any information, content, or services provided by third parties.

1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless EdgeOut, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any loss, damage, claim, action, or demand (including reasonable legal and accounting fees) arising directly from:
   • Any User Content or other material you submit to or through our website & app; or
   • Your use of any content available on our website & app,
   except to the extent that such loss or damage is caused by our own actions or omissions.
2. We will provide you with prompt notice of any such claim, suit, or proceeding.

1. Your contractual relationship is with EdgeOut.
2. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Both parties irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
3. EdgeOut reserves the right to assign or novate these Terms (or any part thereof) to another entity within its corporate group without your consent. If such a change occurs, we may update the details in clause 19(a). You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any such changes.

1. EdgeOut makes no representation that the materials available on our website & app are appropriate or accessible in all locations. Accessing our website & app from jurisdictions where their content is illegal or prohibited is strictly forbidden. If you choose to access our platforms from outside Australia, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws.
2. These Terms may be translated into local languages for convenience in relevant territories. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail. The translated version will be deemed automatically amended to align with the English version.

1. You may not transfer or assign any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person. EdgeOut may transfer or assign its rights or obligations under these Terms to another business entity, provided we reasonably believe that your rights will not be materially affected.
2. If you breach these Terms and we do not take immediate action, we retain the right to enforce our rights and remedies at a later time or in any other situation where you breach the Terms.
3. We are not responsible for any failure to comply with these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
4. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. e. EdgeOut may engage other entities within its group to assist in delivering products and services to you.

1. “Advertiser” – A person or entity that contracts to post advertisements on any of our website & app.
2. “Candidate” – A user who accesses our website & app to search or apply for jobs, or for any purpose other than as an Employer.
3. “Careers” – The sections of our website & app that provide access to career-related features, including learning resources, community discussions, and career advice.
4. “Content” – All text, graphics, design, programming, information, images, video, audio files, software, and other materials used on Our wOur website & app.
5. “Design” – The colour schemes and page layouts used across Our wOur website & app.
6. “Employer” – A person or entity that accesses our website & app to post job advertisements or use our services for recruitment-related purposes.
7. “Graphics” – All logos, button icons, and other visual elements on our website & app, excluding paid advertising banners.
8. “Our Database” – All job advertisements posted on our website & app, and all information registered by Candidates, Advertisers, and Employers with EdgeOut.
9. “Our Services” – Any services provided by EdgeOut or its agents, including but not limited to the provision of: Online employment marketplace services (e.g. job posting, job search, profile creation); Talent sourcing services; Resume search access; Learning, community, and career advice resources; Job-candidate matching and notifications; Ancillary advertising and sourcing services (e.g. banners, email campaigns, design support); Advertising services for Employers and Advertisers.
10. “Profiles” – Individual profiles created by Candidates or company profiles created by Employers on Our wOur website & app.
11. “Programming” – All client-side and server-side code used on our website & app, including HTML, JavaScript, databases, and other technologies.
12. “EdgeOut” – Refers to the company providing the services described in these Terms. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to EdgeOut unless otherwise stated.
13. “Text” – All written content on our website & app, including editorial, navigational, and instructional text.
14. “User” – Any individual or entity that accesses or uses any part of our websites, apps, or services.
15. “User Content” – All information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, advertisements, messages, or other materials submitted, posted, or displayed by users on or through Our wOur website & app.
16. “You” or “you” – The individual or entity agreeing to these Terms.
